In the December forth, we went to Nanjing University Exhibition-Wu Wishan Cultural Figures Sculpture Gallery Of Nanjing.The artist is Wu Weishan. One artist makes the artwork.This is a sculpture museum. It showed us the contemporary artwork.
I like the artwork called “A Innocent Girl”. As you know the artist is Wu Weishan .He created it in 1998. He used cast copper and very easy shapes to make it. Such as lines, rectangle, cylinder etc. It was not very realistic, but we know it was that . The subject of this artwork was a girl. She was tall and very thin .She was not very pretty but it was very lovely. I think the girl it very like me when I was a children . It can help me remember some interesting thing in my childhood . So I feel it very kind.
When I was eight years old ,I’m very naughty . I did like studying. I liked playing with my brother. Also I liked playing with my friends in the school. In the weekend ,I did not study in the home ,I always had outside activity and learned something I want . Such as swimming , badminton and so on . I had a very happiness childhood .
This artwork expresses that a girl is very lively and pure . The artist wanted to person that kind of people. They were very happiness every day. They were not have many tension and sorrowful. This kind of people could know themselves and knew what is live. They loved themselves and enjoyed the live . I guessed that girl was a daughter of Wu Weishan. He wants to remember her appearance that expressed he love his daughter very much.
